1.) Some
of the features of a blog are your own personal thoughts and ideas. It is like
you are literally pouring out all of your ideas into this one piece of writing.
I believe that blogs differ from print sources because blogs tend to be me more
along the lines of your own personal thoughts put into writing.
2.) Hourihan
feels that blogs are a communication revolution because they are slowly
becoming more popular and if everyone were to keep a blog then think about how
many daily records would be recorded.
3.) I
believe that keeping a blog in this class will be advantageous to my learning
because it will not only help me become a better writer but it will also help
me think outside of the box. By writing in a blog every day I have to get
creative and when I sit down and begin to write it are just me and my laptop in
front of me. So doing a blog posting by myself I can really just focus and be
relaxed at the same time just writing about what is on the board and in my
mind. I don’t believe there would be any disadvantages to writing in a blog for
this class.
4.) Publishing
is where you write something down and then publish it into a newspaper,
magazine, or perhaps even on the Internet. Where as, a blog is just a piece of
writing that is just your simple thoughts. Typically these pieces of writings
tend to stay just within your reach.
We have similar feelings about blogs and what there purpose is in todays society. I wrote that there is not any disadvantages to a blog for this class. and finally i like the way you differentiated between publishing and blogging.
